Wanna Hear a Joke?

I babysat tonight for a trio of awesome kids. We ate chocolate chip banana bread and watched Zenon. I know, right?!

I was upstairs with H, who's five, while she's "brushing" her teeth. (Kids don't really brush their teeth so much as they put a toothbrush in their mouths and then try to talk to you while keeping it in there.) Here's what H said to me, toothbrush and all:

H: Sarah, did you know that every day of your life you're surrounded by numbers?
Me: What? Give me an example.
H: (Shoving her hand in my face) FIVE!!!!!!

Kids are freaking ridiculous.
